Le cultissime groupe de pop des 90’s se reforme (Julie Doiron tient la basse).
Le groupe légendaire Eric’s Trip est de retour, ensemble, pour une courte tournée européenne en mai 2008.
Eric’s Trip a été formé en 1990 quand les musiciens Rick White et Chris Thompson ont rejoint Julie Doiron et Ed Vaughan. Leur nom est le titre d’une chanson de Sonic Youth, tirée du légendaire album "Daydream Nation".
Eric’s Strip a été le premier groupe signé sur le label Subpop au début des années 90.
Leur musique rappelle celle de Dinosaur Jr., Neil Young and Sonic Youth.
